Our practice(clinic) is all about dedication, personal attention and genuine interest. Both for you and your pet. We are an independent clinic that has been established in Watergraafsmeer for 40 years.
Joyce Hofman has been the owner since 2017 and runs the clinics together with an enthusiastic and committed team. Our 10 vets all have their own interests and are aware of the latest developments in veterinary medicine: this allows us to treat almost all animals internally.

Our team
Joyce Hofman
I have been the owner of this fine practice in Watergraafsmeer since 2017. In 2012 I joined my predecessor; Leen Elenbaas. In 40 years he built a veterinary clinic where local residents felt familiar and there was a lot of (room) space for personal attention. A vision that I continue.
I live in Amsterdam together with my boyfriend, children and Surinamese street dog.
I started my career in the Tropics, where I learned that veterinary medicine is not only about medical knowledge, but also about experience and practical skills. Every patient is different, as is every owner. Every situation, therefore, requires a different approach.
I believe that the bond between humans and pets is a fundamental part of life. After all, we have been living together for over 10,000 years. Although the role of pets has changed over time, they are still immensely valuable in our lives and provide love, comfort and pleasure.
By working together with my fantastic team for the well-being of your pet, I hope to contribute a little bit every day to make this city more beautiful.
